President
Mike Fabrizi has been with Southport since 1999, when he joined the firm as its first electrical engineer. Mike has grown a sizeable book of business over the years including clients from hospitality, commercial, municipal, healthcare, and industrial sectors.
Mike specializes in engineering design of electrical distribution, controls, fire alarm, emergency generation systems, UPS and data centers. Mike has extensive experience in system commissioning, as well as analysis of power line disturbance and harmonics problems on electrical systems that affect sensitive electronic equipment.
Prior to Southport, Mike worked for consulting firms as well as electric utilities. His diverse background and experience enables Mike to provide strategic advisory and owner’s representation services to a wide range of Southport’s clients.
Mike is a registered professional engineer in five states and maintains membership in the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
