Ken established Southport Engineering Associates in 1996, after 13 years managing energy and mechanical projects, rising to Vice President in his former firm. Ken’s background in troubleshooting and energy analyses, design and coordination of mechanical, electrical and structural engineering projects created an immediate value-add for Southport’s initial clients – paving the way for immediate and sustained growth over the past 25 years.

Ken’s strategic leadership has been the cornerstone of Southport’s presence in the market – enabling the firm to expand its talent base, increase its technical service offerings, and deliver quality engineering solutions for larger and more complex projects. Ken continues to oversee selected Southport engagements.

Ken maintains his professional engineering licensure in 15 states, and is a member of ASHRAE, ASME, AEE, AFE, Tau Beta Pi, and NSPE.
